One-size-fits-all doesn't work in employee benefits.
Different companies and industries have different needs when it comes to employee benefits, specifically dental insurance.
In this article we look at several industries, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and hospitality that tend to have a larger population of Spanish speaking employees working for companies.
As a result, it is important to make sure dental benefits and administration recognize some of the unique needs of these employees and the companies that employ them.
SecureCare has worked to include as standard many dental benefits and services designed to help construction, manufacturing, agriculture and hospitality companies and their Spanish speaking employees.
As you consider your dental insurance strategy, SecureCare has embedded these benefits and services:
1. SecureCare includes Triple Choice Dental Plans that offer three premium levels, so employees can select plans that meet their budget. Often there are variety of wage and salary levels, so having premium price options is helpful.
The Copay Plan, part of the Triple Choice, offers no annual maximum, while the One Plan Change benefit ensures all employees have no annual maximum.
2. Our US-Mexico Dental Network is included on all SecureCare Dental Plans for existing and new members. This network is convenient for employees as many will visit a dentist in Mexico when they are home visiting family or friends.3. SecureCare Dental premium rates and new business quotes include the network. You don’t need to ask to add the US-Mexico Dental Network. The Mexico Dental Network is fully integrated into all dental benefit plans.4. All contracted Mexico dental providers are in-network and submit claims to SecureCare Dental on behalf of the members. Members do not need to submit claim forms.5. Members visiting a Mexico dentist just show their SecureCare Dental ID card. If they do not have the ID card, our team works with the dental office to gather the eligibility information needed.6. Eligibility, pre-auths, claims and any provider questions are handled between SecureCare Dental and the provider, so the member can have peace of mind that they will not be involved any more than they would be in the U.S.7. The member may experience lower costs when visiting a provider in the Mexico Dental Network depending on the plan and services. Employees are aware of the lower costs and therefore, choose to have services done in Mexico.8. Eligible full-time employees include those with a legal US work visa. These workers may be from Mexico or another foreign country.
9. SecureCare accepts the Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) as an ID number. The ITIN is issued with legal US work visas in place of a Social Security number. Legal foreign workers from Mexico and other countries will have an ITIN.
